The horses are not actually featured much in the movie. Once present, they are ridden through the desert with a sandstorm chasing them, however it is clear that the horses are never in danger.
What is The Mummy
The Mummy is an action-horror film, starring Tom Cruise that was slated to be the cinematic launch point of Universal's Dark Universe series of films. Commercially, the film did not do well, and led to the abandonment of Universal's Dark Universe.
