Early in the film, we find the protagonist Manoj sitting alone. outside a bustling restaurant, at night. A stray dog enters the frame (shown somewhat at a distance), as the camera zooms in to focus on Manoj, we hear the stray dog whimpering (presumably from hunger, and as way of mirroring Manoj's own inner turmoil). The dog is not shown again.
