Released in 2006, and directed by Frank Marshall, Eight Below is the story of Arctic researchers attempting to retrieve their eight sledding dogs. The film also follows the dogs doing their best to survive the harsh conditions they have been left in.

Yes. Some of the dogs die. Others are injured, but survive.
Detailed answer
Two of the eight dogs in Eight Below die. A third dog is injured during a fight with a leopard seal, and for a moment, appears to be lost, but ultimately survives. All the remaining dogs attack the leopard seal.
The dogs that die are Old Jack and Dewey, both Siberian Huskies.
Aside from the four remaining Huskies, there are two Alaskan Malamutes in the film - both survive.

What is Eight Below
Eight Below is the story of eight sledding dogs trying to survive the Arctic when separated from the expedition crew they were a part of are evacuated. The story also follows the human researchers doing their best to rescue the dogs. The film was released in 2006, and starred the late Paul Walker. It was a remake of the 1983 Japanese film, Antarctica.
