Blade Runner 2049 is the 2017 sequel to Blade Runner, originally released in 1982. The film follows K, a new blade runner investigating an unburied secret which has the potential to change the fabric of society.
Spoilers below.

Short answer
Yes, the dog survives.
Detailed answer
The movie reveals that Rick Deckard has a canine companion. The actual breed of the dog is unknown - it's rumored to be an Estrela Mountain dog or a Caucasian Ovcharka. The dog is shown to lap up whiskey from the floor.
While the dog is exposed to some nearby gunfire, and a large explosion which appears to briefly knock it out, he ultimately survives and is shown to be fine.
(There is a darker online theory that suggests the dog was real, and was eaten by K's rescuers. There is almost nothing in the film to suggest this to be true.)
Fun fact: The dog, though uncredited, was named the Palm Dog USA winner in 2018.
Is the dog real
It is never revealed whether the dog is natural-born dog or an animoid (a synthetic dog).
